a normal day with the Earle's
life flies by. in what seems like an instant years have passed and things change. but when we recall those years in our past, we remember the normal ones. not the birthday parties or special events. we remember the mornings we layed around and watched cartoons. or the forts we’d make out of couch cushions. or the way a plastic tea pot could create a high-society tea party
these are the moments we treasure. but no one documents.
why not capture the moments, the interactions, the things that make up normal and look back on those? family portraits are usually a nightmare. tacky matching outfits and kids who have no desire to sit still and smile. but this is not a family portrait. this is a journalistic effort. telling the story of what a family is like, on a normal day. not composed or contrived, just real life. these are the things i want to give families back. moments that you can’t create, only capture.
